Originating in 1965 in Muskegon, Michigan, the Snurfer laid the foundation for modern snowboarding. Its iconic design sparked a revolution in winter sports. Jake Burton Carpenter, captivated and inspired by Snurfer, would go on to create what we know today as Burton Snowboards. It only makes sense that the iconic Michigan Snufer Board should collaborate with one of Michigan's most celebrated resorts.

• 100% Made in Michigan - The Boyne Country Sports x Boyne Mountain Snurfer Board was inspired by the Super Racer Model Snurfer that was originally made by Brunswick in their Muskegon, MI factory between the years 1966 thru 1980

• Iconic History -It was "the board of choice" for racers in what would become the first "snowboard" Snurfer championships in Muskegon beginning in 1981 and running through 1983

• Hard Maple Veneer -The board is constructed entirely of 7 ply US grown Hard Maple veneer, and laminated, cut, painted and assembled by hand in Spring Lake, MI

• Original 1960's Design - The cream colored eva foam foot pads are a modern twist to the classic, original button pegs from the original 1960's design

• Proceeds Support the Chill Foundation – Founded by Jake Burton Carpenter & Donna Carpenter with the mission to inspire young people through board sports and build a more equitable outdoor community
