Much like her snowboarding, Desiree Melancon has a forward-thinking mindset when it comes to outerwear. When she sat down with Volcom to design her outerwear, the emphasis was on high-functionality and a fit that doesn't conform to gender or body stereotypes. The result? The Melancon Gore-Tex® Jacket, with a vintage-inspired design and a roomy fit that anyone and everyone can rock. It's made with dual-layer Gore-Tex fabric for ultimate wind and water protection, and it's got fully taped seams to boot. It features Volcom's Zip Tech® Jacket to Pant Interface, a highly adjustable and fully removable hood, a removable powder skirt, large underarm vents, Lycra wrist gaiters, and a unique cuff adjustment system that's easy to tighten down overtop of your gloves.
