This chart is a general idea of what size ski boot would be ideal. Ski boots typically are only made in half sizes. Whether you are a whole or half size they both fall into the same ski boot size. Keep in mind that ski boots require a performance fit, even for beginner level skiers, to ensure the correct level of control over your skis. If your street shoes allow for a finger to fit easily between your heel and the back of the shoe we recommend sizing down one full size in ski boots unless you are concerned about comfort over control and performance.
A Comfort oriented fit is generally ideal for skier that will only be skiing at low to moderate speeds on groomed terrain. It is also important to note that skiers with reduced mobility or pressure sensitivity benefit from a comfort fit.
A Performance fit is typically ideal for any skier that is at an intermediate level or above. Beginner skiers or even first time skiers that are looking to progress and develop their skills quickly will also benefit from a performance fit.
