Description
Nitro's Alternator is the backcountry-centered freestyle board that dreams are made of. Those who seek the biggest of booters and highest of drops need the right tools to conquer the terrain, and the Alternator will be the most important tool in your kit (the tools on the graphic might not help you much in the backcountry, though). It features a regular camber profile, which provides the maximum amount of stability and pop. The forgiving Dual Degressive Sidecut proves to be helpful in choppy, chunked-out snow and the Powerlite Core with Nitro's Reflex Core Profile gives you a strong foundation to snap off of and land on, but without anything that would weigh you down too much. Carbon stringers from tip-to-tail also work towards creating a more stable ride for the harsh terrain that this board is meant for. Of course, a backcountry freestyle board needs to be able to clear gaps, so Nitro made sure to equip this ride with an ultra-fast and crazy strong sintered base that makes getting up to speed a breeze. The Nitro Alternator is a fun board that has plenty of playfulness about it, but don't let that fool you. This board is primed and ready to take on serious thrashing and hard riding.
