Description
CAPiTA's Mega Mercury is the speed-focused all-mountain board you've been dreaming of. It's got the same look as a spaceship, and just about as much tech as one, too. It's been built around the ultra-premium FSC® Certified 3D Starship Core™, which uses the highest grade of Poplar available paired with thermopolymer channels to minimize weight while maintaining strength and response. Moving outward, you'll find carbon fiber strips that improve responsiveness, as well as triaxial fiberglass for the ultimate maneuverability (at, yet again, a very low weight). The base of the Mega Mercury is CAPiTA's brand new Megadrive™ base with their Moonshot Omni-Tune™ technology. This is essentially a premium-grade sintered racing base, that's been tweaked to have water-wicking properties to further increase your top speeds. Blend all of this together with a tri-radii sidecut, positive camber between your feet, a slight rocker near the tip and tail, and half an inch of set-back, and your left with a board that drives hard. This is a specialty piece of gear for the speed-freak who wants a board that can confidently operate at the highest levels of snowboarding.
