While this board is directional in flex, shape and camber profile, the more conservative 5mm of taper in the nose means switch riding is still on the table. A slightly longer turn radius further improves the stability at speed and allows the First Cut to excel in longer turns and at higher speeds.  Blending big mountain aggressiveness with a more approachable all mountain ride, the Family Tree First Cut unlocks the entire mountain for boarder who like to ride fast.
